This blog will explore the baseball card collecting hobby of the 1980s, particularly highlighting the Chicago Cubs. Unlike vintage baseball cards, most modern cards are quite budget-friendly. The different sets will be much easier to find. Therefore, with thousands of cards in the mix, we will begin with the 80 Topps and conclude with the highly valuable 1985 Topps Mini Test. The pinnacle of this era was marked by the Sandberg Rookie of the Year in 1983.

1989 Fleer Team Stickers Cubs Checklist

Number of Cards

The 1989 Fleer Team Stickers collection includes 26 logo stickers, one of which represents the Cubs team. The "4 on 1" stickers display four distinct Cubs logos alongside stickers from three other teams that can be collected.

Size of Cards

The size of the cards are standard-size 2 ½ x 3 ½

Basic Features

In 1987 and 1988, the sticker designs showcased team logos on baseball trophies for two years. However, in 1989, Fleer introduced a new look with the logos placed in front of crossed bats, topped off with red, white, and blue flag bunting on the sticker. The sticker backs had Team History information.
