The standard-sized cards are the following dimensions: 2-1/2" by 3-1/2"Basic Features
A color photograph is bordered by a white border and horizontal blue stripes on the cards. The Fleer emblem is on the top blue stripe, while the player's name is on the bottom blue stripe. Along the bottom is the team logo, as well as the player's position.The backs are quite identical to the 1983 backs, with the exception that blue ink is used instead of brown, and there is a small black and white player photo on the back, along with stats and a short bio. There is also a "Do You Know?" section on most cards, which features trivia about the players.
Rick Sutcliffe made the update set and had his best career season in 1984 with the division-winning Cubs.
