The Perez-Steele Great Moments series, released between 1985 and 1997, consists of 108 cards organized into nine series of 12 cards each. Each series was packaged in a specially designed box that featured a unique serial number. This collection highlights significant moments from the careers of Baseball Hall of Famers and is illustrated by the renowned Perez-Steele Galleries. Only 5,000 numbered sets were produced. The design of the set pays homage to Dick Perez's favorite card collection, the vibrant T-3 Turkey Red cabinet cards from 1911. The backs of the cards are printed in black and white, displaying a checklist of the series at the top, followed by the card number, the name of the inductee, and a brief description of the "Great Moment." The logo and address of Perez-Steele Galleries, along with the Hall of Fame logo, are included, while the serial number (#/5,000) and copyright details are located at the bottom.Chicago Cubs 1987 Perez-Steele Great Moments Series 4 Checklist
