The 1987 Donruss Leaf baseball card set is essentially the same as the Donruss U.S. set except for the card numbers, which are different and the backs are in both French and English. The front of these cards contains a player action color photo framed by a black-and-gold border. The Donruss logo and year are located at the top, and the player's name and position are located at the bottom inside a color strip. The team logo is also found on the front of the card near the bottom.The backs are printed in black ink on yellow and white and contain the typical player bio and stats. Also, the backs of the cards in the factory sets are oriented differently than cards taken from wax packs, giving the appearance that one version or the other is upside down when sorting from the card backs.
