Welcome Cubs Fans!

This blog will explore the baseball card collecting hobby of the 1980s, particularly highlighting the Chicago Cubs. Unlike vintage baseball cards, most modern cards are quite budget-friendly. The different sets will be much easier to find. Therefore, with thousands of cards in the mix, we will begin with the 80 Topps and conclude with the highly valuable 1985 Topps Mini Test. The pinnacle of this era was marked by the Sandberg Rookie of the Year in 1983.

1984 Fleer Star + Team Stickers Cubs Checklist

Number of Cards

1984 Fleer Star Stickers have 124 cards, of which there are two Cubs players.

Card Dimensions

The cards are approximately 1 15/16" by 2 1/2".

Basic Features

The Fleer sticker collection from 1984 has a light yellow border. Due to the album's inclusion of league leader categories for the stickers to be placed in, many players are represented in the set more than once. Unfortunately, this set only contains two cubs. These stickers were originally issued in packs of six for 25 cents plus a team logo.

One team sticker was placed in each wax pack, two in each cello pack, and three in each rack pack. Also distributed are 1984 Fleer Update sets and packs of 1984 Fleer Star Stickers.
