Welcome Cubs Fans!

This blog will explore the baseball card collecting hobby of the 1980s, particularly highlighting the Chicago Cubs. Unlike vintage baseball cards, most modern cards are quite budget-friendly. The different sets will be much easier to find. Therefore, with thousands of cards in the mix, we will begin with the 80 Topps and conclude with the highly valuable 1985 Topps Mini Test. The pinnacle of this era was marked by the Sandberg Rookie of the Year in 1983.

1986 TCMA Simon's Super Stars Cubs

Number of Cards

The 1986 TCMA Simon's Super Stars consists of 50 cards, with one card featuring a player from the Cubs team.

Card Dimensions

The size of the cards are 2 3/4" by 3 1/2".

Basic Features

This collection showcases stunning artwork by sports artist Robert Stephen Simon on the front, capturing the essence of each player in action. With the addition of the player's number, this set is a must-have for any collector. The backs of the cards provide detailed career highlights and biographical information.

Tom Collier and Michael Aronstein, the founders of TCMA, have created their best set ever, in my opinion. They have had numerous sets, but this one stands out.
