David Berg hotdogs are a major component of Chicago baseball history. The "hot dog" was first served in a professional baseball stadium by pioneer David Berg. That took place in Chicago in 1901.This 26-card pack was distributed at Wrigley Field in July as a part of the Cubs' unique "baseball card" promotion. The cards featured full-color fronts with the standard bio with career numbers and an attractive photo of David Burg hotdog on the back. Greg Maddux, in his rookie card year, is included in the set.
