The card photos on the fronts are in full color with a light blue border but are not shown with team logos. The top right of the card features the 1988 1st annual collector's edition in red and blue, and the left front features the Chef Boyardee logo in red, green, and white. The bottom of the front has the player's name, team, and position, as well as the MLB logo. The card backs are numbered and printed in red and blue on gray card stock. Cards show the Chef Boyardee logo in the upper right corner and also feature year-by-year season statistics since 1984.This 24-card set was distributed as a perforated sheet of four rows and six columns of cards in return for ten proofs of purchase of Chef Boyardeee products and 1.50 for postage and handling.
