These cards feature the team's best stars in a portrait or action image on the front; in the case of the Cubs, there were three. The set has a nice appearance for the junk era, with Cubs printed at the top and the player's name and position in a yellow strip at the bottom.The card backs are printed in blue, red, and yellow on white card stock. They also have a facsimile autograph, but I don't think it was a true copy of the players' autograph. Also on the back was a blurb about their careers, which included last year and lifetime stats. The reason I like this set is the talking baseball section, which has lots of great information
This set came with a custom black and yellow box holding a complete set; the box has a complete checklist on the back panel. The set player numbering is according to alphabetical order. There were single packs available.
