Mayo Cut Plug Baseball Reprint Cards. The Mayo Tobacco Works of Virginia first released these cards in 1895. Ten of the forty cards in the set went on to become Hall of Famers. There are 28 players in uniform on the set, while 12 players are shown wearing street attire; they were distributed by Poor Man's Cards.
