Fleer created this 44-card boxed standard-size set for distribution through Revco Discount Drug stores. The card fronts are easily distinguished by the flaming baseball in the lower right corner, which says "Fleer Baseball's Hottest Stars." The player's picture is framed in red, fading from orange down to yellow. The backs have two pink vertical stripes and have career stats with some player info on the bottom.The cards are packaged in a blue, red, and yellow box that reads "1988 Limited Edition Baseball's Hottest Stars." On the back of the set box is the checklist for the set.
