This blog will discuss the 1980s and the baseball card collecting hobby, with a focus on the Chicago Cubs. Contrary to vintage baseball cards, the majority of modern cards are affordable. The various sets will be considerably simpler to obtain. So, with thousands of cards in between, we'll start with 80 Topps and end with 89 Upper Deck. The apex of this period was represented by the Sandberg Rookie of the Year in 1983.

1983 Cramer Baseball Legends Series 4 Chicago Cubs

Number of Cards

There are 34 cards in the 1983 Cramer Baseball Legends set out of a total of 124 cards produced over four years. In the 83 set, there are five notable all-time Cubs players.

The size of the standard sized cards are 2-1/2" by 3-1/2"

Basic Features

Cramer Sports Promotions, which subsequently became Pacific Trading Cards, released this collection. It's the first of four 30-card series that built up a 120-card set released over four years, from 1980 to 1983.

The roster is mostly made up of Hall of Fame caliber players, and it is full of stars and legends from the game. Each card features a sepia photograph and a pleasing design. The backs of the cards provide crucial information, a brief player biography, and a major league statistical record.
