A six-card test set called 1988 Action Packed was created to demonstrate their technique to Major League Baseball, but the attempt was unsuccessful and no license was granted. Black text was set against a gold border on the fronts. One gold plaque has the player's name above the photo, while another gold plaque has the team name underneath the photo.
