Number of Cards
1982 Donruss has 660 cards which there are 24 Cubs playersCard Dimensions
The standard-sized cards are the following dimensions: 2-1/2" by 3-1/2"Basic Features
The initial 26 cards in the collection belong to the Diamond Kings subset and showcase the artistic talent of Dick Perez, which has consistently been popular among card collectors. Each card front displays a colorful photograph, the Donruss logo, and the year clearly marked at the top. The players' names and positions are creatively placed within a bat at the bottom border of the card, while the team name is nestled inside a baseball near the bat's handle. The reverse side of these cards displays a combination of black and blue ink on white card stock, highlighting the players' career achievements, biography, and recent statistics. This unique design captures the essence of baseball while adding a touch of creativity to the overall appearance of the cards. I must admit, I was slightly let down by the noticeable drop in the quality of the player images. There was just one photo of ivy and one of the scoreboard at this renowned stadium, considered by many as the finest in the game. This seems to signal the start of a less impressive era. However, one positive aspect is the puzzle that comes with this collection.
